Upvote for the shock that the movie cast Odenkirk as the lead. It's an otherwise dumb, violent pop-corn movie, but color me interested because such a movie doesn't really call for a nuanced actor for such a role normally.

Let me be the first to point out that before Jack Black was in Neverending Story III he was in this shitty skating movie which also starred Seth Green.

Trent reminds me so much of Bob Odenkirk's snotty musician from Smoosh (Mr. Show). The likeness and the 'tude are uncannily similar.

Ahh, nothing like the ol' Odenkirk clap and smile. Mr.Show is my fav tv show, I even know all the dvd commentaries by heart. Was lucky enough to catch Hooray For America tour, they did about 50% new skits and the ones from the show they changed around the actors witch made it great, dragged a friend to the show kicking and screaming, he loved it and said it was one of the coolest shows hes seen.

Run Ronnie Run, a movie mostly based off a Mr. Show skit about a white trash celebrity named Ronnie Dobbs who makes his living frequently appearing on a show similar to "Cops." It's worth watching if you're a fan of Mr. Show or David Cross/Bob Odenkirk, and you can probably find it in the wal-mart discount bin.
