So... Did I get this straight - this is basically a case of one douche going all "yo, dude, we're so gonna whoop your ass" and another douche going "nuh-uh, dude, we're gonna kick yours!"

That's a lot like Operation Red Nose, which runs here during the holidays. Except, they work in teams of three, there's a chase vehicle (scooter plus Manitoba winter equals nuh uh), and they work for donations only.

I believe that everybody should be treated with respect until they prove they don't want it. If you show somebody that 2+2=4 and they say "nuh uh", then stick their fingers in their ears shouting la la la la la, then that is pretty much all the proof I need. Of course, this is still all theoretical; I don't personally know any of these people, I just see them on TV trying to change laws and such. And writing on internet forums.

Well it certainly would, if it were 10x more per capita. Life expectancy is a per capita measure, so should your accident rate be.

I'm convinced the people who are still convinced Obama isn't a natural citizen are equivalent to Flat Earthers. I'm all for skepticism, its an integral part of scientific and philosophical advancement and a force of reason, law and fairness. However some people will fly the banner of skepticism as a vehicle to further their own agenda. Be that agenda maintaining their own ignorance and/or building their own personal power.

There's always the problem of at what point does skepticism no longer become reasonable, I think a good solid clue is when the skeptic's counters to produced evidence is the intellectual equivalent of nuh-uh.

The burden of proof here was on you. Democrats themselves say they were founded by Jefferson. Even your proposed alternate founder said this. As counter evidence you provided what? A logo? A single dictionary entry?

Was there a contemporary of Jackson who disputed that claim? Was there some historian who disputed it later? I couldn't find anyone who did, except you and Conservapedia, and neither of those sources are exactly reliable sources for history. Imagine turning in a research paper with those citations. Talk about a bloodbath.

I start these fights to try to learn something. You're not teaching me anything, you're just saying "nuh-uh".

At least I've had an excuse/opportunity to read up on my party's history. Puts the more recent tussles into perspective. I wish you'd been able to provide a non-blankfist source for your version of history. Believe it or not, I secretly love being proven wrong.

I wish there were debate judges around to score this, but I'm sure you'd just accuse them of a liberal bias if they said you lost.
