Posting Guidelines

So you've got a sweet video to post. That's great- we appreciate all of the additions that help keep VideoSift alive and kicking. Sometimes videos are posted that shouldn't be on VideoSift. We don't like to delete your videos from the queue, it makes us sad. With this in mind, we've put together a few guidelines on posting videos. Please read these before you make your first post.

1. Please don't self link. While you may see this site as a great way to promote a project you are working on, it would be bad for our content if everyone just put up videos of them and their friends doing random things. If you think that the project you've put together is truly amazing and we must see it, please email us. We'll take a look at it and if we think it's really great too, we'll add it for you. If you skip this step your account will be deleted. Hey it's harsh, but it's harsh love.

This is not the first time a video has been pushed from that specific Youtube Account. WallyWorld, the other one was Nouvelle Vague "dance with me" "Bande à Part" mash-up...

the song is by nouvelle vague, who do lounge covers of no-wave/punk songs. i don't know the original for this one.
