I have to say, I'm with @bareboards2 on this one.

I don't have a problem with joking about any topic, as long as it follows two simple rules:
1: don't target a genuine victim and
2: be funny

This broke both of those.
With rape in particular, the more "edgy" the material is, the funnier it needs to be and frankly, this was easily the weakest part of that set. It just wasn't that funny.

It didn't come close to the sublime brilliance of Louis CKs pedophile bit, for example.

Which is a shame, because I think Jim is really funny. The rest of that set KILLED.

I mean, he did a whole bit about thinking he'd given his son autism and how he realised he was slightly autistic and it was hilarious.

But this whole section... eh, it just felt like making the joke for the sake of it. It was that awful Rodney Dangerfield style of "insult insult, just kidding, hey you're all right!" comedy.

I didn't have an answer until I saw these comments above.

Definitely Young Turks. They need to talk less and get some voice/diction lessons.

Truth distorters. Hate that with a passion.

Anything with pain as humor. I have too much empathy and end up distressed. The ones with the nutsack shots? People falling on their necks? I don't think I have ever gotten to the end of one of those compilations -- I start watching because some "fail" videos are funny without serious harm being involved. But the compilations mostly seem to toss in something that makes me quickly shut 'er down.

And of course -- sexist/racist "jokes". Louis CK has a potty mouth of the nth degree -- doesn't bother me. I love him, because he tells the truth. The man has told a funny rape joke! Who thought that was even possible before he figured out how to do. Sexist/racist crap is lies and ugliness.

I'm sure there is more. That is without thinking about it too hard and stealing from the first posters.

As with many things, humor is ultimately subjective. I find her refreshing. Also delighted to learn recently that Louis CK [whom I also admire] enjoys her as well.

Here's the deal. Louis CK can say the horrible things but they are to their bones true.

This isn't true. It presumes that the spouses aren't partial partners in the journey, working hard, learning the issues. Being role models.

Burr is stuffing these women into the tiny box of "spouse" as if that defines them utterly.

It has been true of some spouses.

But clearly not Hilary and clearly not Michelle Obama. And it wouldn't be true of Bill Clinton.

It's funnier when it is bone deep true. Then you can say "sexist" and "outrageous" things and they make you laugh in recognition.
