I grew up with Mister Looper (Hooper! Hooper!). Loved him. I was a cranky teenager when he died, and too old to be watching Sesame Street, but I still remember being very sad when I belatedly heard that he had passed.

When our time is done, I hope that we were all able to earn the love and respect that this good man had.
