Oh thank God. After all these years I thought it was just me!

Isn't that true of all of us in one way or another? Or is it just me?

Personally I'm not going to lie back in contentment until the fucker pays. I wanna see the money shot and watch him collapse, weak and sweating, at which point we can all just turn off the screen and get back to our lives.

Maybe that's just me fantasising. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was all cut short due to a paywall.

No, I thought that too, since I figured out from the dialogue what was happening by 3:00. I just expect a twist or big payoff when I’m told to “wait for the end”, and instead got almost exactly what I expected.

I was in downtown Toronto when this happened... middle of afternoon power drops and I left work... was closest thing to a zombie movie I've ever experienced... luckily I was close to freeway and was on the road so quickly... but looking down off the Gardiner Expressway I could see the city surface streets were just completely packed with cars and electric streetcars blocking up all the uncontrolled intersections... no one could get to the freeway and it was just me driving up there... then later when I had to go back downtown at night to find someone, the freeways had cars that had run out of gas scattered along the sides the whole way there.. unreal.

That's fantastic. I got a reasonable understanding of semiconductor physics and chip layout in college, but seeing it actually physically happen just made a lot of it click together... 30 years later!

Maybe it's just me, but I think this deserves a *promote.

So first I thought this was a really short video.

Then I googled and found out how little video material from that era exists.

I found a great clip of Oh Well, live, in the middle of that.

Then I googled that Danny Kirwan died two years ago.

Only then I noticed Peter Green died.

And then I "remembered" the lick from Oh Well as the Formula 1 intro from before The Chain.

Then I Googled it.

Then I realized that it wasnt.

Then I remembered a conversation I had with someone 40 years ago who heard Oh Well and said "this is the music from F1" and I explained that no, that is another song by the same band but its not the same band anymore.

Somehow what gets stuck in your head becomes potato mash at some point. Or its just me.

It was itself the theme to "25 years of rock" a few years later.

Peter gave everything away because of drug induced mental problems, not that much of a good role model. At least he made it out of the 70s alive.
