I also learned about WW2 at an early age, preschool or kindergarten, I had an uncle who fought on a mobile howitzer in almost every major battle in Europe after D day, and helped liberate one of the smaller concentration camps, I can’t recall which one off hand. I heard first hand about man’s inhumanity towards man in details too graphic for children.
It’s just my worthless opinion though, it’s not like I pass judgment at The Hague or hunt down aged nazi youths. Who cares if I don’t sympathize with one group of young soldiers’ plight from almost 80 years ago? War is hell for all involved, there’s just not enough empathy for everyone.

Not a detention center, this is a temporary processing center, opened under Trump after the enormous McAllen processing center was closed for remodeling by the Trump administration....remaining mostly empty after photos and videos of the chain link cages he filled to 1000% capacity with children removed from their families and kept there indefinitely sparked public outrage, but not closed for remodeling until November when courts told the Trump administration to stop expelling unaccompanied minors. The center finally closed late last year to be remodeled, only after the election, with the remodel expected to take 18 months. Until then, temporary centers like this one are the only places left to process people before sending most back to Mexico....have been since November. The processing center is due to reopen in 2022.

They used metal barricades to hit police in the face many times. One of the two arrested so far was arrested for repeatedly punching a cop in the face, I think hospitalizing him.
They also sprayed police with pepper spray/mace repeatedly.
I just saw video of a lone officer being chased up a stairway by a group of men and he gets his baton out, not his taser or gun.

Edit: one cop has now died from injuries received from rioters. Over 60 were injured.

Not to mention all the felony destruction of federal property the police made no moves to stop, or that carrying a firearm in the building is a felony that many were committing, or the pipe bombs and molotovs they left behind. He has no plan to replace that funding, so there's no other option, end social security. That's Trump's ONLY plan for next year so far, but expect a thousand more cuts when the budget numbers from 2020 are in....and America will die by those thousand cuts.
