A man with a propane torch was caught lighting Xmas trees and garbage cans that seem to be the start of the Kenneth fire, a woman was caught starting fires near Palisades on the 8th (her fires were reportedly put out, so maybe not the start of that fire) and there’s footage of what’s claimed to be people starting fires in what looks like down town LA tonight.

While I am supportive of Ukraine's efforts to curb Russia's weapons production, I'm a tad confused by this video.

Initially we see a single-prop 2 person aircraft with landing gear down crash into a building and an explosion ensues.

Later in the video we see a still of a winged drone as the video informs us that Ukraine have been improving their drone fleet, obviously a fraction of the size of the aircraft we see in the crash.

Any possibility that someone has taken footage of a plane crash and spun a yarn from it? Or is there another explanation why the aircraft featured at the start of this video is nothing like the drones Ukraine have been using against Russian ships and other targets?

In your example, a criminal trial with different rules, the defense could be you didn’t see them, or they dove in front of your moving car, or you were having a medical issue….or one of a thousand mitigating factors. Trump presented no mitigating factors explaining the frauds, the differing values that changed 10000% in value on paper with his signature swearing to the truthfulness of the values he presented, values he knew were fantasy, so was found guilty.
(Side note- in your example the victim’s heirs would also get a civil trial where prima facie guilt would be established by the witnesses and your admission you hit them and you would need to have evidence supporting your affirmative defense that it was under duress to evade liability, just as they would need to prove malicious intent or recklessness to get punitive damages, IMO).

To prove the point, TMZ obtained Ring Doorbell footage of Philadelphia 76ers player Kelly Oubre Jr. returning home after allegedly being hit by a car.
This included footage inside his home, with audio.
No crime had been committed at the home, and there was no investigatory reason to share the footage with police, and absolutely no excuse for the police selling it to TMZ to air.
Don’t buy Ring unless you want your most private personal activities in your home made public, buy a camera without a back door the manufacturer has had to pay millions for abusing and invading customers privacy for fun.
