Something weird happens when U look at fake bugs in mirror
Note it’s not just the reflection, but the direct viewpoint also switches/remains stable while rotating.
It’s making use of 3 dimensions viewed in only 2 dimensions to pull off the trick. I like these viewpoint dependent “illusions”. They are getting more intricate thanks to AI…I’m still impressed by the Escher impossible shape static sculptures.
Intriguing Objects of Intersection
Nice use of GEB specifically as a nod to the fantastic book Godel Escher Bach - my edition at least has exactly this shape on the cover.
Rob Gonsalves Paintings
I'm a fan of M.C. Escher but haven't seen this guy's work. Some of them are great.
Captain Disillusion: Escherian Stairwell Deconstruction
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
Impressive editing of the Escher stairs. Not a lot of trickery, just clever cuts.
Stepwell In India Is Geometric Perfection
Reminds me of MC Escher
"Weird Al" Yankovic - White & Nerdy (Take #1)
"Escher is my favorite MC."
LMFAHS. Never noticed that line before.
I ♥ Weird Al.

I didn't know Drew Barrymore was a singer.
MC Escher tag is missing.
Doctor Strange -- chase through a city folding in on itself
I agree. I thought they did a pretty good job of bringing the "escher on steroids" aesthetic to the screen.
It was a good movie, although I did struggle with Benedict Cumberbunnys accent.
*shrugs* To each his own, I guess. I thought it was a pretty inventive, exciting chase sequence.

I Jumped Off The Golden Gate Bridge
I lost a sibling to suicide and it took years to stop blaming myself and to stop taking it personally. But until then it felt like a 3D Escher staircase embedded in my head that I couldn't resolve. Since then I volunteer my time to try to help depressed people however i can. But it's not about me, it's about this video and i'm glad this guy made it.

The neverending Model Train Loop
Escher! The snake eating it's own tail! (I think)
335-foot 700 Ton Ship Flips
I've walked through the superstructure before- it's like something out of Escher's Relativity. The wall becomes the floor, and as such everything is designed to be either hinge or track over to it's new arrangement. Very trippy.
Gif Sound Mashup - Feb 2013 (NSFW)
Nice combination of the Shepard tone, Escher inspired hyperbolic tessellation, and wiggle stereoscopy at 1:00. Geek respect.
