RetroAhoy: The Secret of Monkey Island
Some good stuff here. I quite enjoy documentaries, and this one includes some of my favorite gaming experiences.
How trees secretly talk to each other - BBC News
I recently watched an award winning documentary about fungi that mentioned this phenomenon.
Fungi is the third form of life but is sadly not as well known as flora and fauna, as it is every bit as diverse and fascinating as them both.
IMPORTANT! YOU ARE BEING MANIPULATED!!!
Krishnan proposed "They think they're manipulating me, but I know what I'm doing".
To gain a better understanding of how this is possible, watch this great video about AI that ant posted:
https://videosift.com/video/Do-You-Trust-This-Computer-Documentary
Saying that you can handle the attempts to manipulate you would be like the world's chess, poker and go champions saying they can handle their AI challengers.
In reality, AI doesn't just beat them at their games, it now completely destroys them with ease. Statistically affecting your worldview is a much easier task.

Turkish T129 ATAK helicopters conducting a drill
WTF?
I watched it happen in real time....and I've seen many documentaries about it since.
The Fed's were there because a delivery guy found a box of live grenades being shipped to them, not because they tried to get on tv.
They were armed to the teeth with illegal arms, they said in part to defend against intrusion by the government, and they used those arms for that purpose....and lost massively.
The Fed's aren't well known for allowing those in the middle of an armed standoff a time out to do tv interviews. What kind of nonsense are you talking about?!
I would suggest you read about what happened at waco or watch one of the many docos before using it as an example of resisting tyranny. They attempted to use the media, not guns to champion their cause. The FBI denied them that ability.

How IBM quietly pushed out 20,000 older workers

It's not just IBM. Lots of companies.
Time-Lapse Of Fastest Scaling Of "The Nose" on El Capitan
Its possible a few were planted for documentary purposes. If you watch Honnolds videos you will see he has at least 2 or 3 camera guys planted on the faces he climbs. The majority are other climbers. You can see the two blow throw many camps on the way up.
16 seconds: The Killing of Anita Kurmann
True, but that's not all it says....
The presence of human fatality is acceptable and not considered "snuff" if presented as a limited, incidental portion of a lengthy educational, informative news report or documentary that encompasses a much broader narrative. Our definition of "snuff" does include but is not exclusive to any short clip in which a human fatality occurs whether or not any victims are actually visible on camera.
As the fatal accident was the central point of the video and not incidental, and the video may or may not be considered lengthy and or news, I thought it a reasonable question to pose to the community.
To clarify, it was intended as a question not an accusation.
According to the FAQ, snuff is defined as the depiction of loss of human life for the purposes of entertainment. Human fatalities alone do not define "snuff".

Israel - Where Feminist Women Beat & Harass Men, Legally!
I gave it an upvote, but I have to wonder how cherry picked this was. I mean, if you did a similar documentary here in the USA, you could easily find examples of stalker-ish guys who exploit legal loopholes to make their ex's lives nightmares.
United States Military Power 2018 U S Armed Forces
It's like someone thought Team America was a documentary
California Homeless Problem
I expected a ten-minute video to be documentary style, not someone biking through a tent village....
Trickle-down economics seems to be working as intended.
The Toys That Made Us -- Netflix
I've watched the Star Wars episode, and the He-Man one.
I skipped Barbie, and haven't seen the GI Joe episode. those are so far the only 4 episodes posted, I'm waiting for others.
Kind of a fun look into the creators of the toys.
On Netflx in Canada, there is also a documentary on Spin Masters, the creators of Air Hogs and Bakugon. Also a good watch.
