To be totally honest, I'm disappointed the national guard didn't show up 30 minutes in guns blazing, wounding every person who had smashed their way in. Yep. I live in Humboldt. Moved up here from the bay area, a completely different culture. They are also totally different from Southern California, which itself is a completely different animal from Central Valley California. There was a time when splitting the state into two, north and south, was considered, but no one wanted the bay area in their half, and Sacramento didn't belong in either half either. If we split, it should be into at least 4 distinct states, north, central, south, and Bay area California, and even then there would be many communities in the wrong states.

Kinda blows his claim that fraud is rampant and unchecked when his evidence is the votes that didn't pass the checking they did of them. His solution, suppress tens of millions more votes. I think it's important to evaluate the reasons many monuments were erected, in the case of confederate monuments it was done to oppose civil rights for non whites, install a permanent reminder of the pervasive racism the confederate was founded on, and to misrepresent history to minimize their ancestors treason.
In the case of the Lincoln emancipation monument, it was to celebrate finally officially recognizing the humanity of a large portion of the population. I would hope anyone bothered by it's depictions 1)understands the history of its creation (thanks for that) and 2)offers to replace it at their expense rather than demand its removal at taxpayer expense.
