I never even considered a sequel to Dark Crystal - Now I want one!

... Just don't let those two douche-bags handle the job!!

Edit: There is no possible script that could continue off the last one - so Prequel??

The Dark Crystal: Redubbed

grahamslam says...

Just two weeks ago I watched The Dark Crystal in high def. Haven't seen it since my childhood. Right before that I had some guy approach me at the gas station asking for a buck and when I gave him one to get him away he asked for more. To combine those two recent experiences in one short clip is pure genius.

Yeah, this had to happen sometime. It's sacrilege, but well done.

I showed the Dark Crystal to my nephew when he was little. Before it ended, he got up and walked outside just to be by himself for a little bit. Coulnd't face it. That film is *dark!

I really hope they avoid all the trappings of CGI. Henson had it right all along, but people nowadays fail to understand we want the puppets -- at least I want the puppets. It worked in Labyrinth and The Never Ending Story and The Dark Crystal.

I've had this conversation with friends. I totally agree.

Hmm, maybe. But I'm afraid it will be another case of Hollywood taking something sweet and simple and blowing up into a 2 hour CGI Crapapalooza. Looking forward to the Happy Meal toys.

I will buy all the happy meal toys regardless. Decorating my desk at work is the priority.
