Stalked by a Cougar
Absolutely agree with you, but if I can't convince someone intelligent like you to eat a plant-based diet, I don't like my chances att convincing Sharleen and Damien from having 5 kids :-)
The other thing is if you look at the consumption in Western civilisation, we use somethng like 80% of the resources, even though our populations are the smallest. Which would suggest it's mostly lifestyle related.
Try not having kids then. Cutting your per capita consumption in half does less than nothing when you also double the number of consumers. The worst thing most people can do to nature is breed.
Damien Rice-Elephant-Live Just amazing passion
This sift right here is a piece of very, very high *quality live Damien Rice.

Damien Walters showing off his parkour skills
The music used in the original two clips (1, 2) was a better fit, if you ask me.

I would donate to a Kickstarter for this guy's legal defense if he provokes and records a foot chase between he and the NYPD.
$10,000: all of the above PLUS you get to be an obstacle during the pursuit.
I think that would be irresponsible, if he's wearing a black hoodie like in the video...tell him to wear a cardigan.

You're welcome, you post some good stuff.

I really like this song, even though the video is pretty much hipsters looking awkward for the camera.
Thanks, as always.

Yes, have heard of him. I would need to go and re-listen to see if it's coincidence that I've upvoted all the ones without him and none of the ones with him I think it might be...
- This is the kit
- Merz
- I am Kloot
- The Swell Season
- Melpo Mene
- Alela Diane
As for adding Lisa Hannigan... I didn't really think I needed to! I spent a bit of time doing a playlist though. A few non-folk ones may have crept in along with the borderline ones. Feedback welcome.

Have you guys ever heard of Damien Rice, btw? Lisa Hannigan & him used to be a thing. She features a fair bit on his gorgeous gorgeous album "O".>> ^lampishthing:
And, cough , Lisa Hannigan...>> ^oritteropo:
I feel somewhat underprepared! Since all my favourite performers have at least one vid here on vs already, perhaps a eurofolk playlist is in order? I've been following Le Cargo, since every google search of bands I liked ended up there, and posting my favourite ones here.
For a non-exhaustive list to start, I would recommend these English bands:
And these from the rest of Europe
I welcome any other suggestions, too

Could I request a European folk listening list from you in this thread, oritteropo?
You find some nice stuff.

This is closer to acrobatics than parkour...
-Karl
There's definitely elements of parkour here mate, along with his gymnastics, I'm not sure what you mean
This video is missing the appeal of seeing someone do tricks on the street. Getting from one place to another in a creative way, while using objects and obstacles that everyone sees every day, in a way that they were not intended to be used.
I think it's still a cool video, but it's mostly just springboard stuff. Shit, I can double-tuck off a spring board, but I can hardly run up two flights of stairs.
You are right, I wasn't paying much attention. There were a couple of moves off buildings, but doesn't really warrant the tag does it. Seen a few videos of him doing parkour here and there, not really a stretch of the imagination considering how gravity doesn't seem to exist to the guy!
