There you go again. A co-worker and I were discussing these guys today. We were trying to decide what made much of the music of the late 60s and early 70s enduring. You look at this and you're reminded, these are musicians with mastery of their subject. Cover bands can do 80s and 90s, and on, music, but they struggle with this kind of stuff. The good ones come close sometimes, but in the end I always determine they suck in comparison.

I played in rock bands during the 70's and these guys always made my jaw drop. Their compositions and arrangements are probably the most complex of any band, ever. How many GG cover bands do you see? There's a reason. (And it's not just because it wasn't commercial.)

the best cover band i ever saw of them was: physical graffiti! rockz0rz!!! they put on one of the most authentic shows and i highly recommend trying to catch them if you like zeppelin. i saw them over 10yrs ago and they are still going strong!
