I'll add the caveat that if this "change everything" attitude means he's now going to be calling for censoring movies, TV, and videogames, he's still part of the problem, but it's good to hear him wake up and realize it's time to try doing something different.

In quantumushroom's defense (shudder), I actually think he was making a reference to last week's 30 Rock episode.

I really wish someone would explain to me why people feel the need to defend QM. He says these hateful, racist, and incorrect things consistently, and gets roasted for it, yet people still jump to his defense all the time.

Any healthy group needs negative actors. If everyone felt the same way here, we'd end up banning people for having too much blue in their avatars, or maybe if the fact they liked Lady Gaga ever came out.

If you can't dismiss what he says without trying to censor what he says, that's your problem, not his.

Sometimes the troll is the good guy. The proper moral response to censorship is obviously to brutally execute the censor, but our culture is so corrupt and weak that isn't often possible, so we're stuck just trying to piss them off as much as possible as a shallow substitute.
I salute this hero, and I hope that if he isn't able to get his life back to order he is at least able to take some sort of violent revenge on his oppressors.
