Bill Maher's Response to Young Con Rap
I actually dont mind being told how to lay pavement. That's like..engineering or something. Good science. Good people.
Here's a fun one:
1.) Image is the concern for repub party.
2.) "You don't need a good memory if you're honest" - a saying. if you're honest, you will respond the same every time and dont need to remember. get it?
3.) You also dont need an IMAGE, if your position is logical and honest.
4.) They INSIST on image.
et sequitur... you tell me. The positions of Political parties with image are NOT ________ or _______.
I know, silly logic and all that. Gets me through the day. Haha, no wait, that was weed so i dont have to pay attention to this shit.
Where is Palin's outrage at her YOUNG CON's calling her daughter a gutterslut? They directly state "giving it away like bristol palin". HYPOCRITES. BURN !!!!!!

Bristol Palin Against Abstinence
She's a young girl put into national spotlight. Her verbal skills are not upto part with the rest of the media figures.
You're putting a high school girl on a podium and expecting her to give some sort of politically inspiring speech. It's like taking a 10 year old son of some famous athlete, put him in the same professional team that his dad plays in, playing the same position and expect him to perform in the same level as his father.
Maybe 10 years afterwards she may form her own style of speech and articulate her opinion, and that's a MAYBE.
Bristol Palin shouldn't have accepted the interview, but when your mom is a (in)famous public icon you're bound to get wound up with this field somehow.
All I am saying is that we shouldn't analyze this interview as we would with other public figures. She's young, and it's only an individual's opinion.

Typical teen. No vocabulary, but she gets it. She knew better, but could't wait. Typical kid.
I'm ordering the chastity belt now for mine.

The context of her statements help explain what she was saying. The whole interview is here. The pertinent quote is right at the end. Prior to that she talks about waiting 10 years to have a baby, saying to wait 10 years several times. She is saying wait ten years to get pregnant.
She is basically promoting contraceptives and education (if only by example), but she can't come out and say it, perhaps because of her mom's politics or her upbringing.
Considering this girl's parents, I think she did pretty well in this interview.
After watching the full interview, this clip gives me the impression that perhaps young miss Palin was wanting to come out and advocate comprehensive sex ed and denounce her mother's position. But seeing as how it was an interview on FOX, probably figured if she spoke her mind she'd be eviscerated by the interviewer.
Even accepting this as a possible explanation, I'm still disappointed, though not surprised, that she wasn't able to handle herself more effectively, and with a few hundred less "likes". That apple didn't fall far enough from the tree.

"going to the forest" is a euphemism for fucking.
Maybe that's why I can never get people to show up for my hiking trips.
Bristol Palin Against Abstinence
Fantastic, first she says abstinence is unreasonable, then says it's still right, then says the way to make abstinence work is for teenagers who get pregnant to be vilified by the press (though I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that she probably isn't volunteering for public scorn).
But wait, during the campaign I thought Bristol Palin was a hero, and a model example of Doing The Right Thing?
Ahh, the joy of watching people try to untangle the webs they've woven themselves into.

Umm, I'm not sure I get it. I don't really see how pro-choice gets tied into this.
Gov. Palin made it clear that it was Bristol's choice to have the child, out of wedlock and whatnot. The point is that Gov. Palin has very clearly stated that she DOES NOT SUPPORT LETTING OTHER FAMILIES GIVE THEIR DAUGHTERS THIS SAME CHOICE (nor is she a fan of other related things; http://blog.videosift.com/dag/This-cartoon-sums-up-my-feelings-on-Palin)
In other words... (Gov. Palin) - "My daughter is pregnant at 17; she chose life. You're daughter is pregnant at 17? Tough shit; she's having it, because abortion is wrong and should be illegal."

I loved hearing this from a Republican:
"Politics should stay out of peoples' business."
>> ^Aemaeth:

It doesn't, which is why this sketch sort of rubbed me the wrong way. She chose to not have an abortion, so she should be pro-choice? It's very Republican to twist things around incoherently.
