Best band in the world? Not even close. Best bar band? Questionable. Most boring, basic, simple minded, repetitive music in the world? Definitely. If I hear this song one more time, I will puke.

Seriously the best band out there right now. I love everything from classical chamber music to emo to death metal. But Muse has talent that can't be denied. And lol at your atheist tag comment, popularity through conformity never dies.

by blankman's original statement, anyone who is successful in their music sucks. That means the more obscure a band is, the better the music. If we extrapolate that reasoning, the best band in the world is one that doesn't exist.

Rush is one of the best bands ever, hands down. This was THE group that got me into rock, and they hold a very special place in my heart for that.

Thom and Jonny together create cerebral sounds. This track is from my favorite sessions(Kid A/Amnesiac).
It was these 2 albums that blew my mind and placed them on my "Best Band Ever" list.

i won't go as far as dag with my kids, i'll tell them what's what, i think that's my job as a father. if they disagree, then ok, but anyway i will tell them they are WRONG and Blur are the best band in history.
