the most common medication associated with a moon face is cortisol, a steroid, which carlin would have really no reason to take for a heart problem. it is the result of fat redistribution, not water retention. he is most likely on blood thinners or diuretics to prevent clots and decrease the load on the heart (which would actually serve to increase water loss), neither of which should cause weight gain. i'm gonna go with "he's getting old" and his metabolism is slowing, or the embed video is distorted

In a way, yeah. The technical way they would say it is "sekkusu," but seksu is a stylized spelling of that. Asobi seksu means basically casual sex (literally play sex or sex for fun). I think if it weren't for the Japanese lyrics they might be a lot more well-known, but at the same time it really gives them character. I think I'm going to take a stab at sifting up some Utada Hikaru next, she's the only Asian pop star I've ever really gotten into and has an absolutely amazing voice (plus flawless English as she grew up in NYC). I actually found myself randomly in the mood to listen to her yesterday evening and listened to all of her CDs today haha.

Mike Patton has one of the most amazing voices in modern music and can sound like almost anyone he wants to. and Faith No More's 'Epic' was one of maybe 15-20 albums i've ever heard, where i dug every single track on it.

The 'star-king' show was meant to host local Koreans who had talent. I don't know why they guest starred a foreigner into the event and passed her off as a Korean talent, though at the end host did reveal that she was just a guest star.

That's what I meant, and I thought it was pretty apparent. Why do you accuse me of racism? Are you Filipino yourself and think that everyone else is out to get you? Relax your butt cheeks and stop thinking everyone's a racist fella.

the guy stole his schtick from STANLEY of the band LSD (life, sex, death). Damn that band rocked the house.Stanely was one of the best front men I've ever seen, with great stage presence and an amazing voice to boot.

Eddie Murphy is a talented singer but this entire album he made was terrible! But am not surprised now considering it was made with Rick "cocaine is a wonderful drug" James.
