Catnip: Egress to Oblivion?
Bastet! Bastet! Ra! Ra! Ra! is my Abyssinian's favorite. Must be in his genes.
Siam Slam just puts him to sleep...no fun =(

If I may recommend some, as some artists are better shows-men than others. Freddie McGregor, Half Pint, and Barrington Levy. Barrington Levy is full of pep for an old fart. He really knows how to amp you up. Also, any chance to see the Specials, you should take.

Agreed - his voice & cadence were among my favourite from that era of reggae.
I've only had the pleasure of seeing Toots & the Maytals, The Abyssinians and Lee Perry live - as more and more of them drop off the planet, I realize I need to get out & hear them in person before its too late.

I'm sad I've never seen him live. I've seen many reggae legends perform but never him.

Chopsticks feeding Squirrel-like Kitten/Cat/Kitty
I used to have a cat (half-Abyssinian) who used to stand on her haunches. It was the COOLEST thing ever when she did it... She was the best cat ever.
Cats have epic 3-way steak battle
I don't know if s/he's necessarily more intelligent, middle cat just happened to get the middle spot and took advantage! Middle cat is also the smallest cat. Looks like an abyssinian.
Beautiful Stand-Up Cat and His Powerfully Purring Pal
I used to have cat who could do stand up on her haunches like this. I miss her terribly. She was an awesome half-Abyssinian mix, just the smartest, sweetest thing on four legs (and sometimes two).
My Kitty Can Fly
Those Abyssinians are very athletic. I had one that could jump from a standstill to the top of a 7-foot refrigerator. He could make it to the top of a 9-foot bookcase, but he had to bounce off the opposite wall to do it, which was pretty cool to watch.
I just keep mine indoors now. No cat I've ever had that I let go outdoors lived to be over three years old.
I try to keep them out of places indoors (they try to dig under closed doors--makes a mess of the carpet), which is also hard, and I'm thinking the key might lie in a stuffed badger with one of those proximity buzzers by it. Maybe rubber snakes would work too.
