I'm going to go with TNG-era warp drive as my favorite (up until the movie First Contact). Yes, that includes the warp drive from the latest move. Sure it has a nice kick and looks powerful, but the previous ones make it look effortless. "Yeah, we can go faster than the speed of light. No big deal."

That said, the old starburst from TOS really does bring on the nostalgia.

I think part of what makes it so funny is the fact that it makes no sense whatsoever.

It is quite AMAZING!

There are companies that will take you up and let you fly a fighter plane. Of course the planes are 20-30 years old but that's good enough for any civilian.

Or you could just buy a plane yourself! Michael Dorn(Worf from TNG) owns and flies a fighter plane for fun.
