EASTER SCANDAL!! Cadbury Eggs are Shrinking!

catsaway9 says...

According to Cadbury UK's FAQs (www.cadburyschweppes.com):

Why has the size of the egg changed?

As the world's largest confectionery company, Cadbury Schweppes is committed to developing great-tasting products that consumers love. Since people's preferences vary from market to market, so do our products. This is reflected in the broad variety of sizes and flavors of products that we offer our consumers worldwide.

If you're eating a Cadbury Crème Egg in the UK or Canada - nothing has changed, they're the same size as ever. However, in the United States, our business partner, Hershey, elected to reduce the size of the crème egg.

Cadbury Eggs remain a consumer favorite and continue to be an excellent value. We apologize for any confusion or misleading information.

yeah many people shiver for some reason, but Bud's my favourite!
Well, I also like very much all good Weiss, and I like Dragoon (only red beer I drink), Corona, Desperados and many others.
But still, Bud's #1

@SG: bourbons... I dunno, maybe I tried sometimes but I don't remember them... Mixing beer with Sprite is done in France and it's called Panachè (random spelling) and it's done in Germany (yes, Germany) with, schweppes I guess, gaining the name Radler, or with Coke (IIRC) but I forgot the name it takes then.

@twiddles: non flaming, but adding some coffee beans does help. either 1 or 3, IIRC.

@JD: I've no idea what are you talking about -.-

Well, this week Cadbury has changed their FAQ from the cute "You've just grown up!" to the convaluted "As the world's largest confectionery company, Cadbury Schweppes is committed to developing great-tasting products that you, the consumer loves. Since people's preferences vary from market to market, so do our products. This is reflected in the broad variety of sizes and flavours of products that we offer our consumers worldwide."

I almost like the cute answer better than this "three card montey" answer.
