Dole Banana With Pink Floyd Will Make You Feel Weird
No wonder Roger Waters went off the deep end about Pink Floyd's fame.

WATERS & GILMOUR @ O2 LONDON 12 MAY 2011
no.
This is the way it was done in the original show.
Classic. Don't ever change it.

That gave me chills.
I think they missed an opportunity at the end though. As the column graphic rose on the wall and Roger Waters was immersed in darkness, it would have been a powerful symbol for a real column to slowly raise Waters to Gilmour's level at the top of the wall so they would be standing on equal ground at the conclusion of Gilmour's solo.

Pink Floyd "Let There Be More Light"

I love Pink Floyd's music but, watching people try to dance to this was really funny.
I know what you mean about it being a different band, I would've loved to have seen them from Syd Barrett up to The Wall but, not now. No offense to the loyal fans of the name Pink Floyd but, the band Pink Floyd ended (for me) with Roger Waters leaving. Mostly because that's when I came into it, when Roger Waters was the main force. Some might argue that the Syd Barrett era was the best Pink Floyd and while I like the music from that particular line-up, the 1st Pink Floyd album I heard and loved was post Syd Barrett. I didn't even know Syd Barrett's name until well after Animals came out.
Syd Barrett wasn't what made the band famous or even good for that matter. When Roger Waters was the creative leader of the band, that's when they made their best music. I'm not saying that it was Waters alone—in fact I'm not a fan of his solo stuff—but the stuff they came out with when he was at the helm was and is Pink Floyd. Anybody who says it was Syd Barrett is just being a hipster-esque Floyd fan. Anybody that says their best work came in the 80s, needs arsenic.

I haven't read those comments, but GeeSuss tends to be pretty much in line with what I believe most of the time and an overall rational guy as far as I can tell, so I'll give it a look later. Just got back from Roger Waters The Wall and chilling. Fucking amazing concert! My favorite part was when they sang the line "Mother should I trust the government" and they projected a big "No Fucking Way" across the stage. And I loved all the sellout Shepard Fairey style art during Run Like Hell. It's a shame they only showed likenesses of Bush, Hitler and Stalin and not the current warmongering President: Obama.

Glad to hear it, brother.
edit: I was talking about pennypecker and geesussfreak, not the guy in the clip.

He's not my ideological brethren. Nothing about that statement has anything to do with my ideology. Sorry.

Thought you might want to check out the authoritarian suggestions of your ideological brethren. They are a couple of sick puppies. http://videosift.com/video/Tea-Party-Only-Property-Owners-Should-Be-Allowed-To-Vote
