What song makes a girl smile?
I got most of these; If you're playing along at home:
Attempt 1: Clair de Lune (Claude Debussy)
Attempt 2: ??
Attempt 3: Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement (Beethoven)
Attempt 4: Harry Potter theme (John Williams)
Attempt 5: Pokemon theme (John Siegler)
Attempt 6: Flight of the Bumblebee (Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov)
Attempt 7: ??
Attempt 8: Russian National Anthem (Alexander Alexandrov)
Attempt 9: Get Along Gang theme (don't know who wrote this)
Attempt 10: Blue (Eiffel 65)
Attempt 11: Thomas the Tank Engine theme (Mike O'Donnell/Junior Campbell)
Attempt 12: Funeral March (Chopin) I'd be surprised/alarmed if she smiled at this (!)
Attempt 13: Jaws theme (Williams)
Attempt 14: Halloween theme (John Carpenter) this too (!)
And the winner..well, you know, a chick song from a chick movie, no wonder she smiles...
Pizza Delivery Guy Surprises Family With Piano Performance
Did he play the whole Moonlight Sonata song?!?!
The Official Star Wars Tribute To Carrie Fisher
"If my life wasn't funny, it would just be true, and that is unacceptable."
- Wishful Drinking
Carrie Fisher was awesome. Even her obituary was cooler than my life:
Drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra.
RIP Carrie Fisher- 1956-2016
Drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra.
Victor Borge - His Greatest Piano Jokes
He looks quite young there compared to any of the other videos I've seen of him.
I love his "Best of" video that I think PBS put together back in the 90's (I think clips have been here on the sift). It has all of these gags except for Moonlight Sonata. Judging in comparison to here, I think his comedic timing got a bit better with age.
Such a talented and funny guy -- was a shame when he passed, but he had a very good run.
**edit**
This one is from that "Best of" special: (a few more on search here, but this is the highest voted one from that particular show that isn't dead)

David Bowie ~ Ashes to Ashes
I bought this 45 rpm in 1980, back when they still sold 45's. First 45 I ever bought was "In the Year 2525" in 1969, last one I bought was the Stones "Undercover of the Night" in 1984. Since you asked.
This was Bowie's last great album. They went rapidly downhill after this one. I saw him on the Serious Moonlight tour, it was a great show but then I read this lame BS where he said he was "surprised" by the commercial success of "Let's Dance" and when he looked out into the vast stadiums of ticket buyers he wondered how many of them had actually heard a Velvet Underground song. Ya can't have it both ways, putting out a dance record for the MTV crowd and then wishing you were at a backstreet club.
How To SteamPunk Anything - Nerf Gun
always enjoy these kind of videos. adam savage also has a bunch of great ones on his tested channel, that include a lot of great advice on materials and methods.
one tiny revision i'd offer, would be to include the name of the composer of the score, just ahead of the performer. completely understandable, of course, since you're properly quoting the youtube source description, which didn't include it, so unless you're a classical music fan, you'd never realize.
"Clair de Lune" ("Moonlight") was written by French composer Claude Debussy. Peter Schmalfuss was the performer of this recording.
nice sift! thanks for tossing it up here!
robin skouteris-moonlight hotel
minorly *nsfw due to some nudity.
This didn't really work for me. The Moonlight Sonata just didn't mesh with Hotel California, and the imagery just felt like a random early 90s video by Marilyn Manson or Nirvana or . Not that those videos are bad, it's just been done before.

David Mitchell is moonlighting as a writer? And pretending to be American? How weird is that?
What Bears Do in the Woods
Looks like good old Bessie moonlights as a pole dancer at the local Down and Dirty.
Cat Bored of Gambling
Right?! A bell, now there's a real fucking carny-cat who moonlights as a rocket scientist!!
Yeah, there's more than a few of these fixed-shell-game-with-cats videos....Show me the cat who can pick the right cup with a little felt ball under that sumbitch and impress us....
That thing makes so much noise rattling around inside the cup that the cat could have found it blindfolded!
