it is a creepy book in a "this is batshit insane" kinda way but the book of solomon was even more creepier.
lovecraft referred to the necronomicon as "the book of the dead" but actually it translates to "book of icons".
;ovecraft,in my opinion,was far ahead of his time and is the only author that used malthsien(sp?)story telling successfully.

Whoa, with all these author names being thrown around, I might as well list my pet goat and where the wild things are. I'm so terrible at getting myself to read a good book, even though I invariably enjoy myself when I do.

This taps some kind of primal fear inside me. I think that's where the Lovecraft beasts are waiting to emerge. I get uncomfortable just watching the clip.

Like Neil , slight inaccuracy in the opening Panther books was publishing Lovecraft in 68. I found one for a fellow cthuliod as a gift. believe it was the lurker at the gate and other stories . other than that , right on Neil .
