Lake Oroville Drought, California
know and agree with that feeling. did a quick search and the story is remarkably similar to this article...
https://www.kqed.org/news/11882312/lake-oroville-shows-the-shocking-face-of-californias-drought
...and is not Oroville is also the same damn dam that had a problem w/their spillway structure collapsing recently?

[at least this link is 'human' generated]
So not a fun job, i.e. Oroville OverLord. Just think of he/she when you're getting Kind of Blue. Miles of problems for them. Whether the weather goes all rain or no rain, there's no 'So What' for them. Only hope for it to go Blue to Green so it isn't All Blues.
Upside: while it's dry the spillway is being repaired.
Downside: it may not be necessary
[...and the job could lead to empty hours of boredom, only to fall to the temptation of getting the drawing crayons out to do Flamenco Sketches; dreaming where they could be, and what they could be doing.]
What is with these weird generated news stories using text-to-speech? It feels icky taking them at face value. The images could be total bunk since there are no attributions or anything.
I'm not suggesting the drought is fake, I'm just saying this is one of the worst sources that can be posted.
Come on down to Blues & Roots! The newest channel. :} (Music Talk Post)
Thanks Gwiz, and you ask some good questions.
I understand the confusion, and I do believe that jazz will exclude legitimate blues posts' from now on, although there is such thing as blues-jazz fusion music. It might get a bit mixed, but that's all good IMO.
I'd like to keep it as having only music that is inspired by blues, IS blues, or is a derivative of blues. Along with that, as I mention in the channel description: This channel will be for all kinds of blues music, as well as traditional Americana, folk, roots music, and contemporary roots revival music, leaning towards a bluesy sound.
IMO sad != blues, but exceptions can be made and I'm open to accepting some of those.

I congratulate you on your channel choice, it's gonna be a saaad channel.![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/wink.gif)
I must protest slightly though - how can a channel called "blues" be OKed, even though we already have "Jazz and Blues" and Tech be dismissed because we have geek? I think that's a bit weird. Shennanigans!
Oh well, I suppose we gotta oust blues from the jazz channel and make them properly separate now.
EndAll, some clarification, if you please: What kind of Blues do you accept? Does it have to be real blues, BB King and such, or can we put sad music in it too (I'm thinking some of the Elliott Smith tunes)?
Self Indulgent Woman Smokes and Drinks for Your Amusement
It becomes a sort of post-modern performance art piece if you play any track from Kind of Blue behind it instead of the original audio.
