Be a hero? Stuff like this is cool to watch, but heroic? No.

A hero is someone who does what's needed for the greater good, despite the implications to themselves. Wingsuit flyers aren't doing anyone any good, except themselves and their sponsors. They're having fun, not putting themselves out for others.

I'm happy to watch this stuff, and upvoted the video, just think GoPro are taking the piss with the hero bit.

Wait, why's he got a gopro mounted to his head at a baseball game? I guess it worked out this time, but is worth looking like a giant knob the rest of the time?

This is a side light, but one of the reasons why I like the score to the first 5" of the video (Daybreak by Overwerk), even though I've heard it too many times (GoPro anyone?), is that it has dynamics to its structure; quiet (pianissimo) to loud (forte), constrained within its rhythms. Honestly, what makes me go crazy is music that never varies.

Oh, and jets. Lots of jets. That's good.

I tried putting my gopro on a jo and doing a kata, but I found it completely messed up my technique.

What does it matter that he went through on an amber light? Don't forget the perspective of a GoPro's wide-angle lens makes things appear much farther away than they actually are. He was probably closer to the intersection than it appears.
