Honestly the cigarette tax combined with a "hahahah no I dont think legalizing marijuana will help the economy" was a big slap in teh face from the Obaminator. How wholly hypocritical for him on the one hand execute a tax hike on one drug and be so dismissive of another perfectly viable income for the government. I'm a big obama supporter and i was very disappointed in the whole racket.

On the other hand, it takes a long time to screw up the economy and you cant hold the few months Obama has been in office accountable for the trouble we're in now. \The banks and GW Bush are the ones really at fault here.

Muchas gracias mis amigos, I'm flattered - in an... evil way, or something. I honestly didn't ever think I'd make it to 50, especially given the relative obscurity of most of my videos, on top of the fact that they're mostly music videos, which are hard enough to sift. So I focused on building up a nice little Pqueue for myself, keeping every video that got at least one upvote, knowing that one day they would hit it big (maybe when GW Bush re-writes history and everything becomes distorted and backwards).

I mostly joined to be able to upvote and make comments here and there, but like many others got sucked into the flow of the VideoSift community, posting some of my videos more out of curiosity than anything else (to see how many upvotes I'd get). There are a lot of good, intelligent people here and I can't tell you how many hours at work I've killed wandering around this site, reading comments and watching the latest hits.

I'd like to thank Fedquip for introducing me to the highest quality video site on the net (through his old Throw Away Your TV blog), alien_concept aka Rachel (she hates being called Rae-Rae, so everyone can start calling her that) for being a good sifting buddy, and kronosposeidon, kulpims, schmawy, MrFisk, DFT, Farhad, Gunter, LadyDeath, laura, and everyone else (my stoner memory can't recall everyone) who has supported my quest to inject more underground music into the Sift through your upvotes.

I'm running out of music material (of course, that's what I've thought since I got my bronze star) but hopefully, once I get the Net set up at my new place, I can keep fine-tuning my video-searching skills and continue posting - maybe with a little more variety.

Babymech.... why is it so funny. This is a grass roots promotion of a candidate. There is a little fluff in it of course. However, I am not glad he is on his way out. I voted for GW Bush in 2000. Then he promptly became our worst president ever. I do not trust any other candidate. He was the only GOP candidate that would bring the troops home. Clinton is a major flip-flopper. Brack is my second choice, but I don't trust him either. I agree that some of Ron Paul's policy's are a bit crazy. However, his message (and voting records) hasn't changed while he's been in office. No other candidate can say that. That is why I trust him as president. I am sick of being lied to, and having my civil liberties trampled on.

Super Tuesday made me rather sad that Ron Paul didn't get more support.

I do find it odd, however, that the "are you smarter than GW Bush?" ad, with the little dancing Bush is playing along as I watch this. Little Bush and his big ears, dancing... dancing...

I appreciate you elborating on your first statement as it gave me more insight to why you were critical of this report. And while I can understand you being skeptical of the "groups" that the report came from, I personally don't think it affected the validity of what was being said. While our views differ on most subjects, I welcome hearing your perspective. I don't think you are a right wing nut as those types see everything in black and white and in all the discussions we've had you recognize shades of grey on issues.

I used the blind fatih anaology obviously because some of the religious conversations we've had, but in addition we've had several disscusions where I've pointed out evidence of collusion (fluoride, vaccines) and it makes you none the less skeptical of the organizations you quote. You seem to take them at their word even in the face of decietful comments, unethical behavior, shady practices, outright lies and collusions. So while you might not be any less offended by my use of the term "blind faith", that was the context for which I based it upon.

I think we can both agree that there are groups out there that try to "smear" people in politics (ahem, swift boaters). I did not see this report as a smear but as pointing out of the obvious. I think that can be traced to my reluctance to believe the administrations lies to begin with. I don't believe the conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11.

But this video shows that GW Bush was lying his ass off (pandering) to this crowd and the media let him get away with it. If this video was filmed on 9/11 he "could" have mispoke, If this video was not filmed the day of 9/11 one can't use the excuse "he was caught up in the moment" and mispoke.

I think when one looks at the multitude of facts on the timeline of this infamous day, one see's an overwhelmingly incompitent government caught off guard, from the president on down.

There are enough conflicting stories from the government and our media that I think that the truth of that day has been lost in the dust, so to speek, from the confusion and of people trying to cover their asses.
