Life's not the movies.
In real life, the rich have police and private security, secure buildings and walled off communities to make sure that doesn't happen.
What you do see is a total separation. The rich and the poor rarely exist in the same space, and on those rare occasions when they do, the rich protect themselves in ways the poor don't even consider....like bullet and knife proof clothing, body guards, armored cars, etc.
Put 5 billionaires in East Oakland or Compton at night without cell phones or guards, I think you'll see the lynching you're looking for.

For it to become the norm, maybe wait 10-20 years....less if there's another drought in places like California where we grow most of what we feed the nation.

It's like a frog in the pot....if you were to time travel from 1950, you would be horrified at the current state of civilization and the planet, because it's a slow change, people forget and ignore how bad it really is. The pot doesn't need to be boiling for the frog to get cooked.

I met Robin, several years back while they he was filming Jumanchi.
He was filming in my neighborhood, all filmed a block from my house.

But I met him in line a my local comic shop. He was there buying some action figures. He told me about how he tried to come into the store the day before but was mobbed in the street. He'd been looking for these specific action figures for a while and had tracked them down and had them on hold. (Wild Cats from McFarlane toys)

I was standing beside him for a bit before I even knew who he was. I remember thinking he was shorter than I'd expected. He was nice, collected and smiled as we chatted in the line to pay for our stuff. I didn't overwhelm him with questions or treat him like a celebrity. Just chatted in line like I would with anyone else.

He finished paying for his purchases and left the store. He was immediately met by body guards. who took his purchases and quickly disappeared (out of the way) as he walked up the street with his Publicist.

It was just a casual meeting. but somehow I always wanted to meet him again, so I could say, remember when we met in the comic store. I supose that will never happen now, though, it may never have happened any way.

Sorry to see such a genius mind leave us. I hope he's found his peace.

I was at a bar called Gustos in Kansas city last week. Twenty minutes later I look to my right, sitting next to me was Donald Glover! I was shocked, because I love Community, and Troy is the funniest guy in the show. Too bad I couldn't get a picture with him since all the ladies surrounded him, plus his 2 body guards lol.

if i had to deal with that i would hire some young punks with super soakers as body guards.

I really hope these guys have big body guards. The way they attack average, hard working people, cheer on the richest and greediest on the planet, during the Great Recession while over 4 million people have lost their jobs and are growing increasingly more pissed off, is a very dangerous tactic.

It doesn't take that many desperate people for one or a few to fly off the handle and go after one of these fuckers.

A lot of celebrities homeschool their kids because of the safety issues. It's a bit awkward for a kid, especially one who's been in movies, to be followed around by a body guard all day at school.

The rumours about scientology are because he's good friends with Tom Cruise, and probably doesn't want to start any fights by coming out and saying "Yeah that stupid Xenu believin' cult, nah I wouldn't want to join them, JC FTW y'all"

As for the gay thing, a lot of the African American community isn't very accepting of homosexuality, as we saw back in November with all the anti-gay legislation that was passed, with surprisingly high percentages of blacks voting anti-gay.

I just wish he'd stick to the action/comedy movies. Most of his dramatic roles have bored me out of my seat. It's like "Yea, you've got chops, stop pandering to the Academy and fucking blow something up and quip about it already!"
