If you aren't watching Modern Family...
What's wrong with you?
After hearing so many wonderful things about the show, I finally decided to give it the old once over and I am so glad I listened to all the rave reviews. Modern Family is by far one of the best family/comedy shows I've ever seen.
The comedy is hilarious, the characters are interesting and entertaining, but most importantly it has a lot of heart. It's as sweet as it is funny.
I hope this lame little blog convinces everyone who hasn't seen the show to watch every episode from the beginning without missing a one. It's available at Hulu. (However, Hulu makes it very difficult to just watch every full episode in order, so I'd recommend other sources).

Well then, I'll give it a try. It's a long dry spell to Madmen season 4. ;-)

I applaud you, sir. Yes, Mad Men did leave us with quite an intriguing season finale.
For me it'll be an even longer, more torturous wait for Dexter. Holy crap, what a season ender that had.
The best show ever made was called the Wire.

Sorry, no- that would be Six Feet Under. Next you'll be saying some nobody classical guitarist > the great Jake. Or that Windows > Mac. Crazy talk>> ^Farhad2000:

Watched the first episode. It was pretty good. The performances were solid and believable. but ... I'm getting a bit tired of the FauxDoc style. Everytime someone does a knowing sidelong look directly at the camera- I think- "oh you should so be paying a royalty check to Ricky!".
Understandable, but if it's ^that versus the tired, ancient 4 camera sitcom filmed on a cheesy set before a live studio audience, I'll take the FauxDoc every time.

^true that. I guess I'm probably just not into situation comedies at all these days. I tried watching The Big Bang Theory, and while it was funny- I just couldn't get into the show either. Here's my TV list for 2009 in descending order of goodness:
1. Mad Men
2. True Blood
3. That Mitchell & Webb Look
4. The IT Crowd (was that in 2009?)
5. The Daily Show (as always)
5. Would I Like to You?
6. Glee (suck it haters)
7. Curb your Enthusiasm
Have you given Breaking Bad a gander? It's excellent and I'm now a huge fan of Bryan Cranston as a result.
Watched all ten episodes this morning, and loved it. Great recommendation lucky.

Yes, just downloaded the pilot and watched it. I second this as a great recommendation. Breaking Bad seems like it's going to be a new fav for me.
