The economics are interesting. At the moment I guess all those N64 cartridges are depreciating inventory- but at some point, with the nostalgia factor does it start to appreciate again- like a mint Chevy Nova?

I know a couple of people who have purchased several cartridges (Nintendos, Segas, etc.) for up to ~20$ a piece purely for their nostalgic value (and bear in mind it's Eastern Europe I'm talking about, the purchasing power isn't quite up to par with the US). even though it's unlikely THEY will be interested in what you might have to offer, I can vouch that the collector's/sentimental value dag mentioned does exist already. you may want to hold on to at least a part of that collection

Dude, that's tight. We used to have a considerable stash of NES games and SNES games, but my stupid dad got rid of a lot of them for some crappy PS2 racing game. UGH. He also lost our Zelda II, which pissed me off to no end. I love the old consoles.

Hey! I see a comment from 9 months ago so I figure I'm not too late! Love the old cartridges. My brother and I were always SEGA men ourselves. I have two SEGA Saturn games that I might offload through eBay for a pretty penny. One is Dragonforce worth roughly $150 now and the other is Panzer Dragoon Saga worth roughly $300 or so. These games gave me so much joy and entertainment as a kid and it makes me happy to see that other appreciate them as much to this day! Hope your old games found good homes and are loved.
