@campionidelmondo heh, if they start winning I've been supporting them all along... but I expect the losers to lose.

Watching England draw with the U.S.A at the moment. The vuvuzelas are annoying as hell.

Denmark had a very strong qualifying campaign, beating Portugal in Lissabon, so they could definitely be one of the surprises this time.

England started slow today, but they'll definitely pick up the pace for the coming games. Maybe the teams have to get used to the Vuvuzela madness. Definitely annoying, but it's their way of celebrating the game so we should learn to live with it somehow. I kinda hoped the TV stations would've found a way to filter out some of it, since it was just as bad during last years Confed Cup.

Make sure to catch the game between North Korea and Brazil on the 15th!

I'll be rooting for France this time around, since my own country didn't qualify. But mostly I'll just enjoy the game!

But this should prove to be an interesting matchup, as North Korea isn't exactly known for their football prowess. Not sure whether or not their wildcard status is to their advantade or if it'll be to their detriment. But as this is like their second world cup ever, who knows how long it'll be until we get to see them play again?

So, as I expected Denmark lost their first match against Holland 2-0. They didn't deserve to win with that performance though, but it was expected.

Much more surprising, Italy tied with Paraguay. I didn't see the match though, was it even? Lucky goals?

Italy game was a bit dull, they weren't ambitious enough. Typical Italy though, you know they'll qualify.

Paraguay was very defensive, and only scored with a set piece where Italy made a defensive error. On the other hand Italy dominated possesion and play, but hardly managed to initiate good attacks on the paraguayan goal. All in all the draw is deserved for both teams.

Denmark had some good phases during the game, even had the better chances during the end of the first half. Can't blame them for playing pretty defensively against an offensive powerhouse like Netherlands. I still see Denmark going through as the 2nd team in that group, which would mean they could be paired with Italy in the first playoff round

Now that would be an interesting game to say the least!

Korea played really well, but of course the judges were in league with Brazil!

Probably the best underdog performance of this World Cup. Looks like South Africa are on their way out Shame that they will probably become the first host nation to ever drop out at the group stage.

They should just pack their bags and go home already, before they embarrass their country anymore. Some players should've retired gracefully from the national team years ago, instead of dragging their team down with them. Sure we struggle against defensive sides, but this is just ridiculous.

At least Denmark won Now Serbia need to win too and I'll cash in on my 3 game combo bet...
