You can sit outside the poling places, and wait for the trash to be placed outside, open the bags, and look for receipts from the machines.

If you find them, keep them because they are evidence of Federal Crime, they have to keep all records even the ones that are errors.

Respect the private property laws, do not conceal and carry on school property, if an officer asks you to leave, tell them you wish to file a grievance, state your case and explain why you are there.

Another thing you can do, ask your fellow voters how there voting experience went, did they have trouble with the machine things like that.

"Hi I am (your name) I am representing a non Partisan action to monitor voting experiences, and attempted fraud. I do not represent a media organization however I do contribute. I do not want to know who you voted for. I would like to ask you how your experience went, did you encounter strange occurrences with the machine? Are there any things you would like to or feel compelled to tell me? Any thing at all? Do I have permission to use your contributions? If So do you wish to remain anonymous?"

Always assume your source wants to remain anonymous, do not violate that trust.

Lastly, pay attention to what you are doing in there, and pay attention to what is going on inside the building. Watch every thing, attention to detail and you may find something. However be aware of self fulfilling prophecy, you see what you want to see, and it may not be the truth.
