UPDATE 11/20/2007 - thanks to grimm and gorgonheap for the prodding on providing sources. this has help me discover my original claims were misleading and stretching the truth.
While I feel I should come up with an entirely new list of well known odd mormon beliefs, i will leave that to another thread and only focus on re-wording the claims below to relfect a more accurate statement. (11/20/2007 - #5, #1) more to come...

The Truth About the Mormon Religion

Many voters are considering electing a dedicated Mormon as our president. For Mormons religion isn’t a part of their life, it is their life, and it dictates everything they do.
(1) Less than 15 years ago a prominent leader of the Mormon Church listed "the 3 greatest threats to their church: feminism, homosexuality, and the so called scholars or intellectuals."
(2) Mormon’s use their children to perform faux baptisms for the dead, sometimes 24 hours a day.
(3) Church members who point out contradictions between scientific findings and church teachings are excommunicated.
(4) A Mormon family must dress entirely in white, from underwear to outer clothes and shoes, to attend Temple on Sunday.
(5) A mormon cannot discuss details of their religion with non-members, in regards to what happens in their temple.
