What it Takes: Phoenix Anarchists face down NAZIS (NSM)

On November 7, 2009, the National Socialist Movement (NSM), who self-identify as White Power Nationalists and are followers of Hitler's fascism, organized a public march and rally at Arizona's State Capital building.

They were met by a crowd of anarchists and anti-authoritarians who outnumbered them at least 2-1, and faced them down in the streets. The police showed up to protect the Nazi's supposed right to "Free Speech," but the Nazis clearly lost today.

This is what it takes. Mass public displays of force, making it clear to the purveyors of hatred that they are not welcome to do so in our communities.

NOTE:

Re: Speech and symbolic display - such as the Nazi flag - advocating the extermination of sectors of humanity are NOT protected speech, but qualify as hate crimes under existing law, something the police and the politicians seem to forget too readily

Note that most of the anarchists in the video are masked in order to protect themselves from nazi retaliation; one antifa leader was finally murdered in Russia a few days ago; the third attempt on his life; many others are specifically targeted in the USA from Nazi video at rallies.
