The Suppression of Science in America

This CIR/PBS Frontline co-production goes behind the scenes to explore how bipartisan political and economic forces have prevented the U.S. government from confronting global warming. The film, produced by Peter Bull with correspondent Deborah Amos, examines some of the key moments that have shaped the politics behind one of the most serious problems facing humanity today, and how local and state governments and the private sector are now taking bold steps in the absence of federal leadership. Mark Hertsgaard served as reporter and editorial consultant for this project.
