Rapper TI reminding people that MTV is not a substitute for parenting.
I'm kinda 50/50 on this one... yes i think it is the networks who glamourise bullshit, no it is not the artists' fault if your kid joins a gang and says rude words. But... glamourising bullshit is still bad, and the artists play their part. The "I am just writing about the truth of life" defence doesn't really make much sense to me. They only seem to include the glamourous "truth". And I am pretty sure that their true stories are fuel and inspiration for further problems.
If they were all rapping about helping old people, every kid in America would help old people, you know that.
