WARNING: VIOLENT BEYOND WORDS

In this brutal and unforgiving scene Jake La Motta confronts and violently attacks his wife and brother over his suspicions that they are having an illicit affair. This is disturbing to watch, but what the actors and director accomplished and captured here is an astonishing piece of cinematic mastery.

Might be my all time favorite movie, and indisputably Scorsese's and De Niro's best work, and probably the best movie made in the entire decade of the 1980s.
