Lilja 4-ever - opening scene

Intro to the heart-rending film Lilja 4-ever. Although incredibly difficult to watch it's one of the most powerful and moving films I've ever seen. The entire film can be seen here (NSFW, 1 hr 43 min in Russian and Swedish with English subtitles).

Please be warned that the subject matter is very disturbing.

The film's Wikipedia entry says: Lilya 4-Ever is an unremittingly bleak story of the downward spiral of Lilya (played by Oksana Akinshina), a girl in the former Soviet Union, whose mother abandons her to move to the United States. The story is based on the life of Dangoule Rasalaite and examines the issue of trafficking in human beings and sexual slavery.

The music is Mein Herz Brennt (Translated as "My Heart Burns") a song by the German industrial metal group Rammstein. The lyrics talk about childhood nightmares.
