Strange (revealing?) answers to pressing questions after Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested for the shooting of President John F Kennedy. An excerpt:

Q: Do you think the smudged finger prints that have been found on the rifle which killed the president will be able to establish the identity of the killer?

Dallas Police Chief Curry: We hope so but I couldn't say possibly at this time that they will be.

Q: Will it be enough to convict him?

Dallas Police Chief Curry: I don't know whether it would be enough to convict him or not... if we could put his prints on the rifle that would certainly connect him with the rifle.
