The original theme music for Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" was in fact written 276 years before the film was made by composer Henry Purcell. It was originally used as part of the funeral march of Queen Mary II of England, Pucell himself died of suspected tuberculosis less than a year later.
