'Dear America' is a profoundly moving film about the Vietnam War, featuring actual letters home from US servicemembers, read aloud by actors, accompanied by footage and music from back then, as well as ordinary photos of the letter-writers and the buddies they talk about. The film, which won two Emmys, is available at Amazon.com and may be findable on the torrents, but it is 20 years old and somewhat obscure.
