Charlie Rose does an extended interview with George Bush. They cover Iraq, bi-lateral talks with Iran. Then after Bush allows the interview to continue, they cover other topics such as immigration and Alberto Gonzales.
The interview proper begins at 5:59
From the
original post I'd discovered on YouTube, which caught my attention:
"...This is an excerpt of the 51 min. long interview that aired on April 23, 2007 at midnight. Normally the Charlie Rose interviews re-air the next day at noon, however this particular interview DID NOT.
Charlie Rose interviews George Bush OR "How to try to slip through the fingers of a veteran interviewer". Bush's staff had set a time limit of 20-35 min for this interview. Rose was signaled to wind it down at 25 min. but Bush vetoed that and continued for much longer, not realizing he'd be tackling Rose without the help of his writers and spin doctors."
