Attack On Dallas Police Department- 4 Videos

A video posted on Twitter shows the moment during the chase that the van driven by the suspects rams a Dallas police car.

Officers can be seen fleeing their vehicle before colleagues open fire with a volley of shots as the van reverses and speeds off in another direction.

A second video, uploaded to YouTube, shows the attack on Dallas police HQ from ground level. Its terse description says: “6/13/2015 midnight, armored van crashes into squad, fires on police from gun slots, man on street, close call.

“There’s some shit going down right now at the police department in Dallas,” the cameraman says. “I’m at the south side of Lamar. Cops on the scene. All of the fire alarms were going off inside the cop department before. It’s like someone set off a fucking fire alarm, made all the cops come outside, and fucking attacked them, you know?

A fourth video of the attack, filmed from on top of a building across the road from the police headquarters. It shows clearly the moment that the van careened into a police car, sending two officers sheltering behind it running for safety. The soundtrack suggests a number of people watching the incident unfold from that spot.

Reports say numerous packages containing explosives and pipe bombs were placed around the station, one of which detonated when moved by the bomb robot. More explosives were in the van.
