The Alternate, or 'Original', ending to Army of Darkness forever seals Ash's fate as the stupidest man alive, which director Sam Raimi felt the character had earned by this, the third film in the Evil Dead Series. Unfortunately, the other controlling interests in the production felt otherwise, and the much funnier S-Mart ending replaced it. Which is better? You be the judge!
