Why should your moronic belief in democracy or "equality" get any respect either?
Pathetic.
Since when are democracy and equality beliefs?
Democracy is a system of government. There's no question whether or not it exists; you can find proof in a number of countries. Not believing democracy is a good form of government or that it fulfills certain goals is not the same as not believing it exists.
Equality is a social concept. Not believing that all people are or should be treated equal is not the same as not believing in equality. As a concept, its existence cannot be disputed. A concept exists as soon as it is defined.
I find your "critique" holds no water. Please try again.

I'm usually pretty eager to disagree with NetRunner, but the dude really does pretty obviously slam his foot down on the woman's head, though it's not a curb-stomp. What are you guys saying actually occurred here? There is a video of a woman with her head on the ground. Another guy places his foot over her. It moves down rapidly. Her body moves with the blow. What are you all seeing?

Memento, to me, is just on a completely other level than Inception. Great movie. Memento, that is.
In reply to this comment by campionidelmondo:
I thought the movie was good, but apart from the semi-original idea it was nothing special. I love Memento and Prestige so maybe I was expecting too much.

Well, someone has edited the ad, taking out a portion where I guess the Israeli and the Palestinians are playing a jolly game of "soccer over the wall" and replaced it with the Israeli ordering an air-strike, presumably on the opposing side, then cheering and celebrating their victory, all whilst keeping the original soundtrack of the ad.

You're not gonna regret it. And it's not his only book
In reply to this comment by ponceleon:
Actually I was unaware it was a book! I'll have to take a look at that...

I tried a bit of RadioLab (http://www.wnyc.org/shows/radiolab/) that they mention on This American Life, but they keep talking over each other all the time and its just confusing. Pretty interesting stories though if you haven't checked it out already.
In reply to this comment by nach0s:
Yea, I love that show. Free itunes download each week. If you have an iPhone, they have a great app too--you get their entire back catalog. I'd also recommend the Moth podcast--it's true stories told to a live audience.

Just listened to "Pool Of Money" from "This American Life" and it was great! Thanks for the suggestion, I'm totally addicted to this radio show, can't believe how good they are at telling interesting stories.
In reply to this comment by nach0s:
The episodes they did on the financial meltdown are excellent.

She is eating the apple all wrong. How can you possibly take such a small bite out of an apple, even if its just for show? This makes everything else in the entire video absolutely irrelevant and annoying.
[edit] WTF is wrong with her. Is that how she eats everything? I bet it is. She's one of those obnoxious people who take the whole day to do one simple thing.
She eats an apple later? I'm still stuck on her checking her sleeve watch at ~1:07.

Hahaha, okay, yeah, torture is serious business, but I honestly did put that he should be waterboarded for all eternity when I was writing my comment. The impudence !
In reply to this comment by ForgedReality:
chtierna: I agree. They should have arrested him and had him waterboarded.
Okay not really, torture is SERIOUS BUSINESS. But so is a fucking press meeting. TURN YOUR FUCKING PHONES OFF! Jesus christ, it's not rocket science!
