I will always know you as Bravo Channel Man. Don't mess with my reality, bud!

In reply to this comment by Deano:
Bravo no more! It's a system channel now though to be honest I don't see what changes. I can still add/remove videos and update the main playlist. I think I would have retained "control" if there were more things you could do as a channel owner.

Thank you, Bravo channel man!

Real gut strings look a lot like steel strings. You wind them onto string instruments the same either way. You would notice a big difference in the sound/feel if you played a steel-stringed violin and gut-stringed violin comparatively. I own two violins... my nicer one has gut strings and has a softer feel on the fingers, as well as a different acoustic sound quality... less tinny, I guess you could say. Oh, also the e string on the violin is always a steel string. I don't really know why though. Maybe it's not possible to create a gut string in that high pitch range... I dunno!

In reply to this comment by schmawy:
Issy, do real gut strings not have the little balls at the end and the wrapped part on the other? Do real gut string users have to tie them onto the tailpiece?

In reply to this comment by Issykitty:
This explains why gut-strings are so expensive. I had no idea the intensive labor and skill involved in creating these.
