I noticed that the wonderful Muxtape has been down thanks to our friends at the RIAA. The site is diplaying the following message;

"Muxtape will be unavailable for a brief period while we sort out a problem with the RIAA."

A great pity as I actually BOUGHT new music thanks to the various lists I found and now I don't have access to that info anymore which is darn annoying.

Still things move on. http://opentape.fm/ is a similar tool that allows you to upload songs to your own webspace. Whether individual users are willing to risk RIAA wrath will be seen in time.
