Guy Movies
Everybody knows that women are stupid. Even alien_concept. Everybody also knows that women's taste in all things entertainment sucks. They like the show "Friends" and the movie the Wedding Planner and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. When they were younger they didn't think it was necessary to put the black barbie heads on the white barbie bodies. Yup we're like 2 different species.
Guy's taste in the arts, however, is scientifically proven to be more universally profound. I've compiled a list of movies that embody a broad range of emotion and maintain importance to a male's psyche. I'd like you to share your top guy movies too (unless you're a female, then you can go bake me a tasty cake)
1. American Beauty
What an awesome and empowering movie this is. This guy, who has been sucked into the soulless paradigm of the "American standard" finds a way to break out and play by his own rules.
2. Cashback
A chick flick converted to meet a male's standards. This is a breakup/broken heart love story but with a lot of original comedy, interesting cinematography, great music, slight fantasy-twist, and most importantly; ass, titties, and more vagina than you can get away with in an American made movie.
3. Falling Down
Michael Douglas acts out the things we've always wanted to do. Every time he does something crazy, we all have a little party in our heads.
4. Life is Beautiful
You know, sometimes it's important for one cry in order to realize that one is human. Even men. Men don't find it necessary to cry at every f*cking chance they get because they feel like they need a proper outlet. This movie is one of the only proper outlets. The only other proper time for a guy to cry would be if he were just kicked in the balls. (I didn't cry during the movie PS I Love You, I had popcorn in my eye)
5. City of God
Ball-Flexin' awesome tale of a city plagued with the problems associated with poverty. Namely drugs and gang wars. As the movie takes place in a town outside of Rio De Janeiro over the timeline of a few decades, this movie is full of awesome scenery, foreign culture, great cinematography and it's action-packed. Superb character development and a complex story make this movie one that you can watch repeatedly to fully understand the intricacies of character relationships (direct and indirect).
