Funny Comedian OWNS Girl Heckler

kymbos says...

There is something electric about being in a live audience and seeing someone heckle. Just that feeling that you're in no man's land, and this could go anywhere. I was lucky enough to see Marc Maron tee off on a drunk American woman in Melbourne - it was wild.

Meanwhile, who cares if he uploaded it himself? Man's gotta eat.

The New Channel Thread (Sift Talk Post)

Krupo says...

I've been firing in *-action (without the dash) whenever it was appropriate for the past few weeks, in the hopes that the auto-include-in-channel function will pick up on that comment in the comments, so I'm pleased to see support for that. I think sport would definitely be involved in the action rubric, if not on its own - do tee-offs, tackles and explosions have enough in common? I say yes, others may disagree.

An arty thing is a no-brainer. Even if it's a little contentious, that's part of the fun of the question "but is it art?".

I agree with mlx's observation. To take things a step further, perhaps *commerce, in which case general business videos (think accounting pirates) *and* commercials.

What I think makes a stronger case for this sort of category is, like politics or other things, this is an area some people may prefer to ignore, so it would be nice to allow the Sift to follow their wishes using the Channel (a criterion which, although not overriding, should help distinguish between 'common tag' and 'good additional reason to channel-ize it').

Animation is a strong contender, IMHO, and nature could be easily melded with science (so geek would be more a 'technology' rather than 'science-y' channel).
