Katana VS Arrow
I remember a similar gimmick from "That's Incredible"; it is a gimmick and was subsequently debunked. The feathers on the arrow are splayed in such a way that the arrow brakes quickly and is at a VERY slow speed by the time it reaches the guy with the sword. On "That's Incredible" the guy was actually catching the arrows. The trick is to be standing at the right distance from the person with the bow/arrow so it still looks impressive.
So, I have to cry BS to the stunt. Sleight of hand only- not that it doesn't still take practice to pull it off.
Juggling Music
Oh no no no, guys...that's for real. I worked a show with a guy once who did the same thing. It takes practice practice practice. He taught me how to do "Mary Had a Little Lamb" but I could only do it reeeeally slow. No juggler, me.
But it IS for real. We didn't have techs doing anything backstage, and he was just about as good as this guy.
